The Packaging.

Plastic has been opted out as far as possible in favor for FSC-certified paper. FSC-certified paper supports the conservation of protected forests, protects nature and the climate, and guarantees that the product is made from forest that is responsibly cared for.

The paper packaging is optimized from a resource perspective and we have chosen to code the three different product categories in different colors, both to create visibility and to make it easier for the consumer to quickly find their product on the shelf.

Some products require plastic protection for hygienic reasons.

The Products.

Regarding the products, we have carefully selected material from a quality to give the customer a competitive product and a long product lifetime while still maintaining an attractive price tag.

The assortment are produced by BSCI certified factories, a business-driven initiative for companies committed to improving working conditions in factories and farms worldwide. 

Balmid comply with the BSCI Code of Conduct and require this also of the factories manufacturing our products.
